2026 Hammerheads Summer Team Registration
Swim team registration is handled separately from pool membership! As a reminder, in order to swim on the team, a swimmer MUST BE a member of the pool (this is a league rule and is primarily for insurance purposes). Click here for POOL membership information.
The 2026 online registration is for BOTH the competitive Hammerheads Swim Team AND the Mini-Hammerheads Program:
The mini Hammerhead program was designed primarily for younger siblings of swim team members. Our Coaching Staff will ultimately determine which swimmers belong in which program, so there’s no need for you to declare during registration. Families of returning swimmers have the opportunity to register siblings in this program in early/priority registration. Therefore, this program is sometimes filled before registration opens to new families.
This group is for swimmers who are not ready for the competitive team, but are interested in being on the team in the future.
Generally, these are our youngest swimmers who are comfortable in the water, will put their face in the water, and will attempt to swim. In general, Mini Hammerheads will be 4-6 yrs old, but may be up to 8 years old.
Mini Hammerhead Program participants must be comfortable in the water and comfortable in a group setting. They must also have the maturity and attention span required to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
In order to ensure the safety of these swimmers, the size of this group is limited and will close when full.
Program participants will practice 5 days a week for 30 minutes each day during the 10u practice time. There will be a higher coach to swimmer ratio than for our competitive team. Mini-Hammerheads will not participate in our regular meets until they are able to swim 25M unassisted, but will be able to swim in lolli-pop races when available.
Our 8u swimmers may be moved to and from the mini-hammerhead program at the coach's discretion after discussion with the swimmers parents in order to provide the best practice atmosphere for the swimmer.
