Dear Hammerheads, 

Below are the details for the end of season Team Banquet next Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 6-9:30PM. 

Team Banquet Timeline

6:00PM - Start time!! Arrive with your family for one of the best nights of the summer!

6:15PM - 6:30PM - Get ready for a FAMILY FUN RELAY event!! Individuals or families (adults and/or children) wishing to participate in the family fun relay should arrive ready to swim and notify Coach AnneMarie or Coach Andrew that they would like to be seeded in this optional and super fun event. You may enter yourself as an individual or you may enter as a family.  AnneMarie & Andrew will create teams based on the entries. 

6:30PM - Food arrives from Willards. Please order directly by following the instructions below: 

1. Go to website, dcbbq.com 

2. Select "Online Orders” 

3. Type in Reston as your location, then select the PICK-UP only option for 5:00pm or the next available time if 5:00pm is full (i.e. 5:15, 5:30, etc.), on Sat. 7/23. 

4. Go to “Checkout”, and make sure to enter the Promo Code, HHSwim, and hit “Apply", then complete the payment process. 

(Willards will label all orders and package them in separate boxes for delivery. Willards will include all necessary wrapped utensil sets, plates and sauces) 

***ORDERS NEED TO BE PLACED BY 4PM FRIDAY, 7/22***  or please plan to bring your own picnic. The swim team will provide Aslin beer, but make sure to BYOB any non-alcoholic drinks. 

7:00PM - 8:00PM - This year's banquet theme is "DISCO FEVER" get ready to dance to some of the best disco music DJ GingerSpinz has on his playlist. Speaking of playlists, if you'd like to request a song please let Coach Maddie or Coach Alyssa know by this Wednesday's practice. This gives DJ GingerSpinz plenty of time to come up with some of the best songs of the 70s 80s and today! Aside from music and dancing, we will also have plenty of water games organized by our coaches! 

8:00PM - Gather in the grassy area for team awards and a delicious dessert to be provided by the swim team!! At this time our coaches will honor each of our swimmers with a paper plate award and medal (if you placed an order for one). After our awards ceremony we will play our end of year slideshow! 9:30PM - Party ends. Anyone who can stick around to help with cleanup please sign up on the calendar under jobs. We will need lots of help with this!! Thanks in advance.
