Wow! Last night sure was a fast meet! Despite the random hour of afternoon thunder in Herndon, it was clear skies in Alexandria! We took 5th place overall, but had some great swims, including an unofficial boys 15-18 medley relay, which touched the wall first!   I hope all our teams had fun! I was especially excited for the mixed team 9-10 girls relay teams made up of swimmers from Herndon, Lake Braddock and Parklawn.  These girls, including our own Glory Lange and Meaghan Jamison, exemplified the true spirit of relay carnival, coming together as a division to have fun and friendly competition! 

This meet is always a little crazy! (they don't call it relay "carnival" for nuthin!) but thanks to everyone who braved the traffic to come out and volunteer or cheer on the team!
