Hi everyone- 

The weather is looking a little dicey for today.  We try in general to wait until the last minute to make a call on whether or not practice will be held, and of course we have to coordinate with the pool.  If there are thunderstorms, we will cancel practice.  If it is raining with no thunderstorm, it is more of a grey area.  If it is a hard rain, we will cancel.  If it is a gentle rain, we will typically hold practice. 

I will send these weather alerts throughout the season using the Alert function of swimtopia.  

If you download the Swimtopia app to your phone and allow notifications, you will receive a push notification on your phone.  This is what I recommend, especially for meets, when we may have rain delays where the meet is not canceled, but we are waiting in our cars.  This way I can communicate quickly to the team.

If you download the app to your phone, but do not allow notifications, you can open the app and click on the bell symbol in the upper right to see any new alerts

If you do not download the app, you will receive the alert as an email.
